Newest addition to my wearable fiber collection- the long loop shawl!
Up to your cheeks in warmth when doubled around your neck. This yarn was recycled from a sweater, soft with lots of curl and memory to it!

So I guess it seems appropriate that I started work on a new pair of mittens during our first VT snowfall of the season. This wool and mohair yarn is dyed & handspun by Yellow Dog Farm up in Grand Isle VT, colors are more of teal and gold- and super smooth, a pleasure for my hands to work with! They also sell bags of their dyed, blended mohair fiber, also super fun to work with, if you spin or felt.

Just finished this great little wooden handled purse- crocheted with 100% recycled cotton fabric yarn, the design of this handbag allows you to easily fit longer items like envelopes, or in my case- knitting needles- easily inside :)

Calling this one old fashioned romance. I hand dyed & spun these two wool singles ages ago- they have been sitting next to each other that whole time- so I finally plied them together- they really were meant to be together, don’t they?
