one of my favorites to spin - shetland wool, blended with some local angora fiber - all natural color, no dye, navajo plied.

my first experience spinning ramie - far softer than I’d ever expect a bast plant fiber to be! it is naturally dyed with alkanet bark to this perfect pale dusty purple.

I affectionately call this one skein Clown Barf. Lightly felted wool spun in two singles and plied together.

Naturally dyed the wool fiber deep yellow with annatto seeds, hand spun- then stuck in the crimson red acid dye bath to soak up the excess- wish the photo did it justice- the color is surreal!
